AUSTIN, TX — The Alan Stalcup Scholarship has reached a meaningful milestone with the announcement of Rosie, a four-year-old early learner, as the program’s first preschool recipient. This historic award underscores a core belief of the scholarship: opportunity changes everything—especially when it begins early.
Rosie is already known for her sense of purpose and curiosity. At home, she keeps her “workday” on track with reminders like, “Papa, you have one goal… socks, shirt, shorts, my new car seat,” and proudly announces, “I’m going to work today,” as she colors and types on her pink LeapFrog computer.
