The Alan Stalcup Scholarship continues its mission to support the next generation of leaders in finance, education, and community impact by investing in students who demonstrate ambition, resilience, and a commitment to creating meaningful change.
Rivera is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Finance at the University of Central Florida, where she is building a strong academic foundation while working toward her long-term goal of becoming a financial advisor. Inspired by her own experiences growing up, she hopes to help individuals and families achieve greater financial stability through education and guidance.
Beyond her career aspirations, Rivera plans to create a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing accessible financial literacy education to high schools across the nation. Her mission is to equip younger generations with the knowledge and confidence needed to better understand saving, budgeting, responsible spending, and long-term financial planning.
As a scholarship recipient, the support allows Rivera to focus more fully on her education and future goals while reducing the financial burden of college as she works toward graduating debt-free and creating a broader impact through financial education.
